To my dear brother
Doug (and everyone who is holding fast to Jesus),
This letter comes
after many hours of prayer. I have been very grieved about a few of
the things that have transpired over the last few months at FOTM and
the church of Liberty. More importantly God has been grieving. I
guess I need to start at the beginning.
About a year ago,
as you know, the LORD had me come across the FOTM videos posted on
YouTube. I was up to my heart in fake Christians and
"church". I prayed a simple prayer for the Lord to send me
some real brothers and sisters who were like minded and not just
sitting on their duffs. I have never been one to just stare at who
was on "stage" at the time. I have been trained from my
past to be very leary of ANYTHING that seems too good to be true. The
Lord kept giving me a certain peace about the folks at the church of
Liberty. That peace remains with a few of them. I pray that the peace
is restored with me in the ones I met from The church of Liberty who
have gone astray.
Thru my years here
on this earth I have come to understand what it means to be at war. I
feel I have lost good men and women, those GOD told me were my
brothers and sisters in arms, in this war. This is the part I grieve
the most. With that said, I will now say that the time for grieving
is over. The bible tells me to "let the dead bury their dead:
but go thou and preach the kingdom of God". (Luke 9:60) It also
tells me "No man,having put his hand to the plough, and looking
back, is fit for the kingdom of God". (Luke 9:62) My desire is,
and has been, to enter into the kingdom of heaven.....period. I have
never lead ANYONE to believe otherwise. I desire to send a message to
those who have caused me to stumble along that path. REPENT! I truly
do not want you to have to answer to the Most High God for your
actions. I forgive you for anything you have done to me. I refuse
however to allow you to continue in these behaviors and I rebuke this
spirit in you in the name of Jesus.
I have many times
in the past been lead astray by the enemy and had to repent myself. I
have not always been the Christian I said I would be, but He has
ALWAYS been the God He promised He would be. True forgiveness is the
most satisfying thing I have ever known. It waits for you, if you
would only receive it. The Lord made it very simple " I call
heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set
before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose
life, that both thou and thy seed may live". (Deuteronomy
30:19) I choose life.
In choosing life,
I have committed to obey Gods word and believe it where it warns me
"....that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in
his brothers way" (Romans 14:13) I am your brother, am I not?
Have each of you not called me that? Did you mean it in your heart?
There are those of you who have placed hindrance in my path to
heaven. Why? To seem like you are better than another? To further
your dream? I have asked God these very same questions. He told me
that some of you are living a dream. Sadly though, He reminded me
that dreams happen when you are asleep. I beg of you brothers and
sisters to wake up! Begin to listen to that small, still voice that
is deep within you again. Not the voice that would have you attack
your brothers. The loud voice you have mistaken as a warning is not
God. Ask God, and sit quietly.
We are told time
and again to "test the spirit", have you? God told us
that He is not a man that He should lie. You still believe
that....right? The Bible also tells us " Let no man deceive
himself, if any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let
him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world
is foolishness with God. For it is written that he take the wise in
their own craftiness". (1Corinthians 3: 18-19)
I have been to
Liberty. I broke bread with you. I prayed with you. I have seen
first-hand the damage the the Prince of the Air has made of your once
loving, caring, unselfish, truth-speaking ministries. I have also
seen the ripples from the discourse and lies that have been thrown
about. Do you even realize the damage you have done and continue to
do to the body of Christ? Can't you see that you crucify our Lord and
Savior afresh with your actions? God is not the author of confusion
saints! Wake up!!
I went to Liberty
because the Lord told me to. I brought with me the things HE told me
to bring. I did not see a bunch of people under a spell or in a cult.
I was not drawn in by a spirit, other than the God that I love and
serve. How can you explain that? Am I so strong that I could not be
influenced by the alleged "false prophet" or
"Antichrist"? I say NO. I once looked up a little to a few
of you. I asked God to make me as strong as you were spiritually. God
has shown me this was wrong. I need to ask him to make me more like
Jesus! After all, it is the Jesus in you that I want to be like!
I had no trouble
most of my life being my own man. I took pride for years in saying I
was a leader, not a follower. I have seen times where men trembled at
my very presence. I have also seen men laugh when I came into their
sight. Now I desire with all that is in me for people to not look at
me, but the Jesus that is in me. When they see the Jesus in me they
have no choice but to be in total awe. They see a man willing to go
to his back for his beliefs. That part of me has not changed.
I have placed
myself in the enemy's path many, many times throughout my life (or at
least what I perceived the enemy to be at the time). God has allowed
me to walk the path I choose so that I would be better prepared when
I accepted His call on my life I believe. I will not be giving my
lunch and sword to another when the time comes to fight. I will die
in this battle or the Lord in His mercy will call me home. I will not
move, I will not back up.
When you
come from where I come from you fight to the death for that which you
know to be yours! HEAVEN is mine! Thanks to the love of God which is
in Christ Jesus. The Bible warns us "Abstain from all appearance
of evil". (2 Thessalonians 5: 22) Can you say in your heart you
have done this? I have seen the evil. Do you think maybe, just maybe,
if I can see it, that God can too? Search your hearts, ask God to
break you. I love you and will miss you. The Lord has told me that it
is time to move on. There is a world out there that is going to hell.
We have a job to do. You and I both know what that job is. I intend
to carry on with the Lords work, will you?

Rusty, Larry, Andrew, Jerry, Patrick, John, Lisa, (and anyone else at
the church of Liberty who is holding fast to JESUS), may the one true
God in Heaven lift you up and keep you in his arms, safe until His
return. Again, the Bible tells us " But they that wait upon the
Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as
eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not
be faint" (Isaiah 40:31). I am thankful to God for each and
every one of you. I thank you for loving me back and accepting me as
the Lord has made me. I will walk beside you brothers, wherever the
Lord may lead us, knowing that we will be together for eternity. I
love each and every one of you and want you to know that I have my
lunch packed, the weapons the Lord has blessed me with and a
steadfast resolve to fight to the end beside you in the name of the
Lord. I would rather die fighting for what I believe in than become a
slave to those who have no beliefs. I am a soldier and servant of the Lord.

Hey Doug, read
everything about the Andrew Strom incident, and saw your latest
videos just now and I just got to say Thank You. I remember the last
conversation we had, how I said something is not letting FOTM in my
heart go despite the accusations, and you said it is the Lord, Amen.
Just got done emailing Chris apologized to him, and I once again want
to apologize and ask for your forgiveness of believeing at least a
little of what others say, when I should have listened what was on my
heart. I knew it all along, I'm sorry please forgive me. Just like
you said last time, these people clearly told you God sent them to
FOTM and now they blame themselves for staying with a christian cult.
What are they hearing, don't they know they are spitting at God for
what they have said, they don't even know what they have done. I'm
with you and FOTM, and just thank you for being there and helping me
to grow. Thank you Doug.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Patrick, I stayed over at the ministry house in Liberty.
Now at no time did Doug ever try to force me away from God or did he
try to direct my paths. Right now I am in Richmond, VA. While I was
there I learned a lot from God through different people. I did see
the controversy that was starting, though it was not as bad. Now in
no case am I taking any sides except Gods side. I believe that we
shoud point out apostasy and false doctrines when we see them and
encounter them. But now how is everyone ganging up on Doug and Chris,
when they have preached more truth than anyone else I have heard. Now
if they are a little off on any part that is bad, but if we are going
to come after them this hard to point out there faults, what about
all the other so called ministries that are misleading thousands upon
thousands. Why do we not try to convince there congregation of all
the misleadings that are happening all the time and continue. But now
we may say that we have no part in there ministry? But now if we are
all of the same church in the same city, than we are just as
responsible to point out Doug as we are about the rest of the
churches. Now I am not saying that he is responsible for doing any
wrong. I personally talked with him about the marriages and spiritual
marriages, and unless you have done the same you have no room to
talk. Now as a brother in Christ we are to come to him in love to
correct him, by one, than two. While I was in Liberty, I had never
seen this happen at all. Yet everyone seems to live in the same area,
but there were no confronting of Doug personally that I had seen.
I look around at the times and know Christ is coming back. How can
you not, with everything that is coming on. Christ is looking for
people who stand for his GLORY, and will not let his name to be
thrown around. Yet it is going on all around us. Now I know Doug to
be a kind man, and he does love Jesus very much and so do the others
with him. He is not unreasonable to listen to accusations, so why not
settle this? Are we not to forgive our brother seventy times seven.
He is constantly doing the things that God is asking him to do, the
same way that we all should as well. This is not about Doug, this is
about Gods Glory, if you continue to go after him, that is between
you and God. If you do go after him, go after everyone else as well
that is throwing Gods name around worse than him!! It is easy
to write a letter or post a video about another person. Why not go to
these people, personally!! Maybe God is testing you everyone, seeing
where your hearts are at. We can rebuke from a distance, but can we
do it in person? I pray that we all step up, in this matter. Time is
running out. Let us look at the people that are doing the greatest
damage to the body.

Just want to send
you a positive email, to tell you that fotm is doing a great job and
thanks for waking me up!
I am a little
upset with the adultery video about Doug but certainly don't have all
the facts on this, and it again could be Satan, so I will just put it
in the hands of Jesus.
Still keep getting
the word of God out there, love the videos!

we have never really spent a lot of time trying to blow our own horn.
MANY, MANY people have been healed and delivered and radically saved
and transformed. God is moving
and NO ONE is being told to follow Man.
At least not by
FOTM. Certainly all the people banging pots and pans are trying
to direct other people's paths and tell them what to do (or whom not
to talk to). All we've ever said is listen real good and do
whatever God tells you.
