This video is a commentary on and response to Paul Washer's acclaimed sermon "Ten Indictments of the Modern Church". Doug's contention is that they are not actually the root problem and, even if acknowledged and change came, these ten wouldn't solve the problem.
Here are Doug's "Indictments" :
1. A failure to see that iniquity has multiplied, the love of many has grown cold, many have been led astray and we are FALLEN. A failure to see the reality of the hour and the depravity of the system we have built with our own hands.
2. A lack of understanding of the true nature of the scope of the delusion of the hour.
3. A fundamental lack of FEAR of the LORD. (Cowardice)
4. Ignorance regarding the true nature of "The Church".
5. Lack of understanding about what happened to our Lampstands.
6. Lack of understanding and awareness of God's government.
7. Refusal to hear the voice of God, inability to test the spirits and a denial of the gifts.
8. Lack of holiness - separation from the world.
9. Lack of total sacrifice and understanding of "bondservant."
10. Unwillingness to accept dissonance.
11. Love of the world and the things of this world.
12. Hatred for the humble things.
13. Complete misunderstanding about how to get saved and stay saved.
