Dear Brethren,
Things are moving
fast! I have only emailed irregularly and about once a month over the
last year or so. But things are starting to hop around here, so you
might be hearing from me more often. We'll see how the Lord leads.
We already have a
city-wide revival on the schedule in Polo, Missouri for May 12th.
Musicians and speakers are already lined up and the place is set.
More on that as we get closer. But before that happens, Liberty is
going to light up. I don't know what it will look like or where it
will be or how many people will come, but I know it's coming. We're
going to have a Tent of Meeting where the people can meet with God.

Below is an
anouncement and link to the new book. That makes six books the Lord
has cranked out through me in the last two years. And there are at
least two more that need to be finished by the end of March! No glory
to me, I'm just the guy with typing fingers. Whatever I've learned,
He taught me. That I get to try to be a blessing to others is the joy
of my life and a great honor and priviledge.
Another story from
the trip is included here as well. If God tells you to go somewhere
on an errand for Him, even if it sounds crazy - GO!! Nothing beats
total dependence on God. Push all your chips out onto the table and
bet it ALL on God. He never fails.

This new
book is a careful look at all the things the Holy Spirit did in the
Old Testament, things He did in the New Testament BEFORE Pentecost,
thing He did at Pentecost and following and some hard questions about
what happened to Him.
This is really
aimed at those who believe that all this THIRD of the Godhead really
does now is gently prod us to do good. Like a beefed-up conscience.
But which evidently isn't very powerful because 50% of pastors use
porn and we have higher divorce rates inside the church than without!
This is GOD we're
talking about here. He lives inside of you - but doesn't have
anything to say? You might want to let Him out and see what happens!
Why exactly did we stop needing Him to do big stuff? If the war is
over and we already won, then how come we're the tail and not the
head? How come we're losing a whole generation of kids and the
culture and the cities and the country?
Maybe it's time to
ask ourselves who benefits most from a theology that a third of the
Godhead is dead (or practically dead). This book isn't a highbrow
theological treatise, it's just one guy asking some hard questions
and pointing out that maybe we need to leave our ivory towers of
dogma and get a reality check.
The Gifts of the
Spirit are alive and well. God is still moving just like He used to.
If you're not living in the Great Commission in Mark 16:15-20, then
YOU are the problem - not some new dispensation where HE stopped
being able to do miraculous things!
Even if you're
fully on board with the Holy Spirit, there's stuff to be learned
here. Maybe just some "Ah-ha!" moment that will help you
explain it better to others. We have enough seminarians with big
brains asking convoluted questions. These are just the child-like
responses of someone who came at this from a Show-Me, Missouri,
Southern Baptist viewpoint.
No matter how big
a box you have the Holy Spirit in, it's not big enough. Let Him OUT!!

One of the
times I had the most fun on this trip was walking all through the
commercial district in downtown Taos, New Mexico and handing the
"Apology to the World" to store owners with shelves full of
witchcraft stuff. In the spirit, things break when you go and take
back the ground like that. Taos is a very bad place. Between the love
of money, the New Agers, the outright occultists and the Native
American idols and dolls and totems, it's very dark. God hates witchcraft!
Oh, and by the
way, if you want to get on God's good side, don't name your state the
LAND OF ENCHANTMENT!! Make a note.
Also got to pray
all through the "Ghost Town" in downtown Albuquerque, New
Mexico. They do tours in the evenings and talk about all the ongoing
paranormal activities in the area. I'm expecting them to lose some
business. We anointed the whole thing and claimed it in the Name of Jesus.
Without really
knowing it, I followed Lewis and Clark's trail 200 years later;
followed the Missouri river from St. Louis to it's head; followed the
Oregon, California and Santa Fe trails; crossed the Continental
Divide a BUNCH of times; closed a bunch of doorways and claimed a
whole bunch of land for Jesus. In California, the Lord even had us
repent for and renounce that murderous, lying, weasel Balboa that
greedily "discovered" the Pacific and claimed it in the
name of his murderous, greedy empire and planted the flag of his
catholic fertility goddess, the "Virgin of Antiqua". It's
hard to even calculate how many souls that has affected negatively.
Lots of other
warfare, but the best thing was praying with the saints and seeing
God break the chains of oppression off of all kinds of folks,
including leaders of national and international ministries. God is so good.
Please pray for
us. Pray for Liberty, Missouri. Pray for liberty for yourselves, your
family, your country and the Bride. We have a "liberty
disaster" all over the place. He wants to set the captives free
- and I think it's time.
