Dear Doug,
We had a great
meeting on Thursday morning. About a half dozen heads of ministries
were here and we had a good prayer time. It's really fun to watch the
undercurrent of excitement and desire that's pushing all of us the
same direction. Is there anything more critical right now than
getting the Body of Christ to work together as one?
We'll be having a
meeting again this Thursday (3/30) at 8:30am here at
BuiltToLastHome.com (1134 W. 152 Hwy, two blocks East of Perkins).
Please ask the Lord if He would like you to come. It's just a time to
compare notes, share concerns and seek His will for Liberty.

Communication Network Coming!

One of the things
that is most needed in the Body of Christ is some way to communicate
across the whole. We have divided up into so many pieces that don't
talk to each other anymore that it's very hard to get any momentum
when we need to mobilize the entire Body. Toward solving that
problem, the Church of Liberty has been collaborating with the Church
of Orlando and several special individuals to build something totally
new. We believe this is God's computer system and will have a massive impact!
The short of it is
that, instead of being global, it takes the internet and focuses it
down on the community level. It provides a web portal for every
single town in America that has every possible bell and whistle that
the internet can provide - discussion boards, local news and weather,
free classifieds, free auto listings, free real estate listings,
local business ads and coupons, recycling exchanges, and much more -
and then woven throughout is the message of Christ. It also creates a
place for the Body of Christ in each town to come and communicate
across what have typically been barriers and walls. A place to post
needs, share resources, announce and schedule meetings, discussion
boards, chat rooms, emergency management and much more.
Consider this - if
that stuff in the book of Revelation is really coming, are we ready?
Do we know how to barter and trade and share resources? Do we even
have an inventory of all the assets of the Body of Christ in Liberty?
Are we really going to argue about secondary doctrinal issues when
people start dying? Maybe we ought to practice now before things hit
the fan.
Even if there's no
disaster, are we even ready for a city-wide revival? People are
praying for it, but I don't think we're really prepared for what it
would require in terms of cooperation and communication.
We are going to
need help with the management of this tool. We need Christian
businesses to advertise on it. We need the Body of Christ to tell
people about it. If you get that this is something that will have a
big impact and the Lord tells you to help somehow, would you please

What is coming
in April?

We've heard from
several of the congregations in town that they are preparing for a
big push for Resurrection Sunday. Not just the normal heavy
attendance day, but special outreaches and events. Certainly this is
a very special time of the year and we need to celebrate Christ's
ressurection most of all.
There are many
different "Passover" themes in the Bible. The one that the
Lord has been pointing me to over and over in the last few weeks is
the one in Ezekiel 9. I would HIGHLY encourage everyone to read that
in context and consider it's application to Liberty.
The short of it is
that the city (Jerusalem) was in an awful mess and especially the
Temple. The Lord had a mark put on the foreheads of all of those
repenting and weeping and mourning for the sad state of things. The
death angels pass those over, but everybody else gets slaughtered -
starting with the religious leaders at the porch of the Temple.
Coming up on
Passover, we might want to all consider what might happen if the city
and the Temple are in disrepair and we aren't sorry about it. I don't
think God is kidding around. Some serious repenting would probably be
good about now, just in case.
We have heard from
several people around the world that they will be here in Liberty in
April following Passover to help. What are they helping with? I have
no idea - but I'm sure God will make it clear when the time comes.
Hopefully revival fires are burning brightly and we need all the help
we can get! Passover would be a good time to do it, too.
How big is God?

Some people don't
think God talks to us. I'll leave it to you to decide whether this
sounds like Him or not.
One day I was
lamenting that there doesn't seem to be very much fear of the Lord in
America. Evidently, in the age of computers, space shuttles and the
Hair Club for Men, being able to count every hair on our head isn't
that impressive. So I asked the Lord how I could explain His bigness
to people. And this is what He said:
"Son, you
know quarks?" (The smallest sub-atomic particle we've been able
to identify so far. Much tinier than atoms and everything is made up
of them.) "Well," He says, "every single one in the
universe has a unique personal name and I know it. I know where each
started, where it's going, everything it will bump into in between
and where and how each will end. Is that big enough?"
I said, "Yes,
Lord. Thank you." Then I cried for awhile.
THAT kind of God
loves you personally and individually. What a miracle it is to come
before His throne and be called by name. Without awe there is no fear
of the Lord - and fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
We need beds!

One of the most
urgent needs we've heard here and from LoveINC is for mattresses and
boxsprings. We have at least 30 people sleeping on the floor right
now waiting for beds to come in. If you have a spare at home or know
a business (hotel?) that might be rotating some out, would you please
let us know?
